Hey, thanks for stopping by. My name is Les George and I make knives.
I started making knives at about age 12. At the time I was an aspiring knife
collector and had amassed a box full of knives. When I decided to take my
knife collecting to the next level and buy my first fixed blade, my parents
declined to allow that to happen. A few months later I encountered a few books
on knife making in the public library and with my parent’s permission, a knife
maker was born.
Turns out my parents never thought anything would come of it.
I continued to make knives hard and fast until I enlisted in the Marine Corps. It
turns out that knife making is not a very mobile thing and it was a very mobile
few years. 8 years later I had settled down just little and was stationed in
Kaneohe, Hawaii. I took over a small space and once again began making
knives. Thanks in no small part too my beautiful wife Bianca. With out her and
her support I would most likely still just be thinking about making knives.
In recent months I have honorably separated from the Marine Corps after 10
and a half years of service. Bianca and I have moved to Corpus Christi, Texas
and I have set up shop once again.
I look forward to many new things during this new phase in my carear. There is
a lot of work left for me to do to get ready for more work to come.
